Welcome to Charlie + Co.
“Charlie” is a 9 month old Cocker Spaniel and the “+ Co” are his loyal humans Rachael and Paul.
The idea for Charlie + Co started when me, Rachael, an almost (but not quite) *pause for dramatic effect* 29 year old and my partner Paul (another almost 29’er) took the plunge into first time paw-rent hood.
Inspiration hit when trying to get a loop neck harness over the head of our wriggly pup; a funny at first, not so funny twice a day every day for the rest of your life, type of situation. To keep it brief, Charlie didn’t like an over the head harness and we didn’t like having to loosen it and tighten it to get it on and off him. We started looking into the ‘step in’ harnesses and noticed a gap in the market for contemporary, stylish ‘step in’ harnesses.
We took our furry inspiration and ran with it; late nights, frustrations, design fails and wins and a minor coffee addiction later and here we are have Charlie + Co.
Our aim? Quite simple: “get heads turning at the park” for ALLLLL the right reasons.
How? By designing stylish, comfortable and practical additions to your pup’s wardrobe.
